Description

The 0.2-micron Ceramic Replacement Filter fits in the top tank of the Auro 5-stage Gravity Fed Water Filtration System. This filter is composed of highly compressed ceramic with an absolute pore size of 0.2 micron in diameter. Ceramic consists entirely of naturally occurring raw materials.

NOTICE: It is normal for the new white ceramic filter to stain orange right away after using. This is just the inert suspended ash (burnt up matter) that was once in a dissolved toxic state that is now inert and visible (truest way to visibly see the purity levels of any fresh water). The precipitants that fall to the bottom of your container after treating any fresh water resembles a peach blood remnant and is what collects on the top chamber of the Gravity Fed Filtration system using the ceramic dome filter. The ceramic filter traps these orange particulates (ash) on the top chamber so that on the lower chamber you have your crystal-clear living mineral spring water ready to go for all to enjoy.

CLEANING THE CERAMIC FILTER: You do not need to rub off the orange stain that will occur soon after you start filtering the Auro treated water. What you will need to clean off every few days (depending on filter usage) is the built ash that starts to collect on the ceramic filter and creates a film, which slows the flow rate of the filter. We recommend that when you're ready to clean your ceramic filter of just take the top chamber off and rinse it at the sink. We recommend using your clean hand (least abrasive) and just rubbing off the inert waste that has collected. This ceramic dome is about a centimeter thick so the less aggressive and abrasive you are when cleaning the better. If you do use a sponge or a rag, make sure it is clean and free from any soaps, detergents, chemicals as the Ceramic Filter is a natural porous stone and those things would contaminant your filter and ultimately your water.
